The orchestra returns to the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta for this night of bright and spirited music. Dvorak’s lively Carnival Overture sets a bright and jovial scene for the music ahead. Led by Chief Conductor Sarah-Grace Williams, TMO then proudly presents TMO Artist in Residence, the exceptional Keyna Wilkin’s with her next brand new orchestral work, the Triple Flute Concerto. Featuring three of TMO’s premiere flutists, this work will highlight the exceptional capabilities of the flute both in solo and in harmony.

The bright and joyous theme will reach a stirring pinnacle with Elgar’s incredible Enigma Variations, a work that is filled with powerful emotions, scenery and wonderful imagery to deliver a fitting end what has been a colourful and energised year of music for The Metropolitan Orchestra.
